Nonetheless, I am beginning to notice my musical lean towards orchestra-like production of electronica or indie work. Say, Arcade Fire, Broken Social Scene, Architecture in Helsinki and the like... with 10+ members making up the band...
Bjork seems to capture the same sort of majestic sound all by herself...
well, with the help of a real orchestra, of course. But Unison is up there with that sort of magical sound I dig so much. Gotta love our girl.

when was the last time you heard a song by the sugarcubes? its hard not to perk up when you hear a song by them, right?
can you believe its already been 20 years since they first got together? this month (the 17th to be exact) marked the first performance the group has performed in 14 years. wow.
i love bjork so damn much - its always great to revisit her old self ... pre-swan dress and debut/post/homogenic/vespertine goodness.
