After a night of cocktails and fun with the bffs - I'm lounging in my room this Saturday morning. Recharging again for the weekend. Post-farmer's market and planning my day... listening to bossa nova. All is lovely in my world. : )

I'm feeling a little melancholy and reclusive this Friday evening... I thought I'd drop it to you Bossanova-style by way of Japan. I'm off to watch Amelie!

I've been relaxing all day and haven't done a lick of what I'm supposed to do.... ie laundry, clean, market...
There are lots of things to write about - mostly on our trip to Disneyland yesterday and a few plans coming up for trips out of state and overseas.
For now, I'd like to share my current sunday soundtrack... that along with reading Sam Harris' End of Faith. I'm not sure the two really go together. But they just seem to work for today... Bebel helps in diffusing the heaviness of Harris' subject matter...
Anyway, I'm sharing Bebel today since I am enjoying memories swimming in my head of a live concert I saw two years back. I had the pleasure of seeing her at the Hollywood bowl in late 2005. It was actually for Mau's 27th birthday celebration. And all I can say is - it was a pretty memorable evening of music, laughter and more... a great memory indeed. I believe any memory attached to the sounds of the Gilberto clan pretty much defaults to wonderful...
