Hello there...
It's been a while, hasn't it? I took a break from VOX and now I'm back. It's been interesting. Lots of changes.. good ones. Lots of growing. Lots of challenges. Always moving forward.
So.. I just wanted to slowly jump back in and post a song I am (currently) very much in love with. The mood and dreamy nature of this song feels very close to how I feel at the moment. I am bit more relaxed and I guess you can say a bit happier with my life. I am busier than ever, but I like it. :)
I've been enjoying this track a great deal lately. Enjoy.

I've been waking up in the middle of the night lately.... and usually during these late hours I will catch up on some reading (mostly missed posts on Google Reader) and I stumble. Tonight I stumbled upon this incredible music video - for a song by electronic artist, Pogo. The track is basically made up of sound clips from Alice in Wonderland. It is actually quite beautiful and I instantly fell in love with it. (For anyone that knows me well - noodley, spacey, pretty instrumentals like this will usually hook me pretty easily). After investigating a bit further, I just found out that Mau had posted this same video earlier this week. Makes sense.. and I'm not surprised as he and I see eye to eye on music in general... and anything that represents even a touch of our childhood will instantly be a favorite.
But wow.. the hook on this song is just as addicting as watching Alice in Wonderland. I can't stop listening to it. :)
It's been a while since I've posted something from Brazil...

I've been pretty quiet in my vox world. Lots going on and I haven't been diligent in posting my Friday Favorites. My apologies!.. But I'm back (I think)...
DJ Cam is incredible French hip hop / dub / electronic goodness. This song features Afu-Ra and remixed by DJ Premier (one of my favorites) ... all those guys working together = a pretty delicious joint. By "pretty" I mean very.. or a lot.
Ok it's late. This post might not make sense if I continue typing...

It's just sooo good though... I just imagine hanging out with my honey - listening to this and smiling.... maybe he's reading something... or maybe I am... or we're just laughing and telling jokes... but I'd put this on to set our mood... it's raining tonight, so we're probably stay in..
