I know I know!... yes it's cheeseballs and this sounds like a cut from Ibiza Hits v. 27, but seriously... it came up on my iTunes yesterday...and literally I was like, "WTF...how do I have this?... hmmm... it's pretty good... wow..."
I like it when my iTunes switches it up a bit and sprouts some good stuff I didn't even know I had...

i've been a fan of deep house for many years...
not too many of my friends know this about me - since well, i hardly listen to it when i am in their company. most of the time - i only go deep in the privacy of my bedroom (insert obvious joke here) hehe... with either my headphones on or in my stereo... when previously enjoyed in a party atmosphere - ironically, house is now a luxury that is appreciated by a party of one.
in the past, i used to dance to this kind of music... a lot. during the mid to late 90s and early 2000s.... house labels kept releasing so much good music - it was hard not to fall into it all...
i miss those days. miguel migs' remix of this mj cole track is probably one of my favorite deep house tracks.. ever.

This album came out at the height of my "career" as a music marketing ninja for a certain publisher located here in los angeles. Back then when I actually loved the magazine I worked for and their content was still well...good.
Upon release of Tempovision, the rest of the staff was a bit hesitant, no one really knew if it would do as well as it did. No one really liked it. Period. But I did. I believed in Etienne de Crecy - and took every opportunity I had to play this album at the office. After a while, my co-workers started digging it. And slowly I found more requests for their own copy in my inbox as the weeks went by. By the time I was ready for my next dose of new music - my co-workers were still caught in the Etienne web. And Relax was the one song that I used as ammo to catch them all.
(Probably one of my favorite tracks of all-time...)
