I am almost certain I've posted this as a Friday Favorite already. I don't really care -- I needed a dose of Sam today.
This is probably my favorite of his solo work.
Becky Stark, lead singer of Lavender Diamond, is so endearing in person that one cannot help but love her songs. She is hilarious. I am just absorbing their full album today. This one in particular makes me happy. Jason, Anna and I saw them live yesterday at Amoeba records in Hollywood. I absolutely love the energy from the guys of Minus the Bear. I adore their entire discography - all their funny song titles... and hey, they're from my second favorite city in the world - Seattle. My next wish is to see them live.

I was browsing through my iTunes in search of something a bit dreamy... and I came across this. Exactly a year ago - this was my favorite song. I love the ethereal quality of the ladies of Azure Ray. (I heart all things Saddle Creek)
I think I've found it. A perfect and beautiful sleep remedy... and tomorrow (rather, later) on the bus ride to work - I can guarantee that I will be playing this on my iPod, then iTunes @ work.
