A boy once told me that he thought I was too cool for him - that I listened to hip hop and knew a bit much on the subject. My thoughts? I am a grown geek. I am never too cool for anyone or anything. I just love what I love and do what I do.. no boundaries on genres or sound. I do not succumb to compartmentalized music loving. I am a lover of the best.. and that is all.

... my sunday songs are usually pretty mellow - lots of smooth, pretty melodies and ambient tunes...downtempo or indie goodness. but today is different. i'm feeling pretty pumped as i just got back from a seven mile hike - though exhausted, i'm a bit hyper. and this song is just so damn great - i just had to. a little dedication to all my vox friends to get your sunday started...

I've never been a big fan of Jay-Z. Maybe a few of his instrumentals a few years back... but ever since my little brother has been playing Reasonable Doubt - I've gotten a little curious. So... this track pulled me into my bro's room today as he had it playing... and i felt compelled to share it on vox. It's pretty damn good...
