I have always had a strong liking for soundtracks... background majestic noise, if you will. and I love it when electronic artists find the perfect medium to create lush sound landscapes through instrumental tracks that literally sound like my dreams...
Manual & Syntaks are Denmark-based minimal/tech/electronic group that have captivated my downtime soundtrack space for about three years now - after discovering them back in 2004. This is a quick teaser for you guys. I will upload some longer tracks in a bit.
Needless to say, I've been listening to them for most of today. This along with Elis Regina (down below)...
it's been a relaxing one. Lots of napping,reading,cleaning.. and Manual and Syntaks.

I was browsing through my iTunes in search of something a bit dreamy... and I came across this. Exactly a year ago - this was my favorite song. I love the ethereal quality of the ladies of Azure Ray. (I heart all things Saddle Creek)
I think I've found it. A perfect and beautiful sleep remedy... and tomorrow (rather, later) on the bus ride to work - I can guarantee that I will be playing this on my iPod, then iTunes @ work.
