(jt, you know i've been trying to upload buttercup all freaking day ... and for some reason vox was being moody this morning... or maybe my laptop was. anyway, it was nice to wake up to a comment like that... it made my sunday for sure! this is actually for you and your pops...)
buttercup is yet another gem from the bobbito and spinna compilation of stevie covers (the wonder of stevie), sung by carl anderson - which i learned this morning was a close friend of jason's dad. this is probably my second favorite to golden lady, followed by as by gene harris... man. how can one go wrong with that album? with the information jt shared this morning - this album just propelled itself to one of the "favorite of all-time" status.
